El Salto del Limon, Samaná

El Salto del Limón is a stunning waterfall located in the Samaná province of the Dominican Republic. The waterfall is approximately 120 feet high and is fed by the Arroyo Chico river, which flows down from the surrounding jungle peaks [1][2]. To reach the waterfall, visitors can take a 2.5-kilometer (1.5-mile) journey through thick forest, either on foot or on horseback [2]. Visitors can also go canyoning through El Limón river to reach the falls [2]. The waterfall is a popular tourist destination and is considered one of the must-see spots in the Dominican Republic [1][2].
